Cryptozoo (14) — Enter the Intern, pt. 7
Huey Lewis and the News Post: Ryan’s back, everyone! Everyone say, “Hi, Ryan!” (Hi, Ryan!). Yay! Anyways, this week’s comic wraps up “Enter the Intern.”
“But, Rory,” you say in a weirdly helium-infused voice, “the characters are feuding!” Yes, they are, intuitive reader! Conflict and comedy! That’s our bag o’ tricks here at the Cryptozoo production offices. They go together like pancakes and pizza! Next week we start “Quittin’ Time” which will be a new arc with new newness all over new-ville (sorry, I’ve been reading a bit of Jeff Smith lately and loving it).

Guess it was a pretty short storm, like those super convenient ones on ‘Lost’ that show up only when needed? Anyway, indeed, I am back, and it is good to be drawing again. It took me awhile to get back on the Cartoonist Sleep Schedule (i.e. lots of coffee, the artificial sleep!) But there is something kind of nice about watching the sunrise as I draw. You may or may not be interested to know that this was the first Cryptozoo drawn in Manga Studio 4, which is awesome, and you can check my personal Tumblr in a week or two for a review, but the short version is that MS4 is pretty dang great. Anyway, hope you enjoyed Enter the Intern as much as I enjoyed drawing it, check back next week for all new shenanigans and monkeyshines!
